As a treat and bonus to Marissa's spectacular Bat Mitzvah at The Four Seasons Hotel located in Beverly Hills, we decided to create a video. A video including testimonials from Marissa's friends and family.
After post-processing the photographs, my assistant George and I got to edit the video. We uploaded the video and presented the Mallow family with the video in the beginning of January 2014. What George and I didn't know was that just three days' after Marissa's Bat Mitzvah on December 21st, her dear grandfather, Michael's beloved father passed away. A picture paints a thousand words. A video on the other hand, also adds special elements to the "story," with the added feature of moving pictures and audio, in particular people's voices. Timeless. Priceless. Memories captured forever.

balcony of Temple Israel Hollywood.
We were not allowed to use any flash.
No problem.
Solution: We brought a tele-photo lens
and remarkably it captured a beautiful "wide angle"
of Marissa's service.)
