Cody McCasland, Jake Frank, Blake Leeper, Roderick Urise Sewell Jr. and Rudy Garcia-Tolson.  This was photographed using half of the crosswalk (zebra-crossing as they say across the pond,) because some little sold-out event, known as the San Diego Triathlon Challenge was taking place. hehee!! )

the Winner.  Lesson learned: Show up and finish strong.
There's always some magic at the end.

On a side note: I did see Julie Moss on the swim but my photo is blurry...she's too fast!)

Hands me a smart-phone.  
"What's your name?" "I'm Kevin and this is my wife Celeste."
"Nice to meet you."
(I took photographs of Celeste Cocoran earlier. 
Celeste was one of the survivors at the Boston Marathon bombing.)
We then start talking about Boston. About how I attended Boston University and lived in Alston, just down the street from Mick Jagger!!!
"Mick Jagger, lived in Alston????"
"Whoops!! I meant, what's his name from Aerosmith."
"Steve Tyler."
 "I'm sorry, I'm on 1.5 hours of sleep. The song
'I've got the moves like Jagger" was stuck in my head.'"
"Why?"
"Because earlier we replicated the Abbey Road album cover
and when I asked Cody if he knew the Beatles, 
Cody's dad Mike McCasland 
said, "no, how would he know the Beatles?  That's too long ago. Cody's only 12." 
And then he added,
"Cody, does know the song, "I've got the moves like Jagger."
"So Kevin, how do you know my name."
"It's written on your back pack. SHIGGY."
"Ohhhhhhh" 
(Let's out a sigh.......I thought that I was famous and that Kevin had  recognized me.....alas, it's from my back pack.)
And how did I remember Kevin's name you might ask?
Kevin looks like Kevin McHale and Kevin McHale
played for the Boston Celtics.)
